Just to let everyone know....totally SOLD OUT for Saturday 28th at The Gateway, Seaton!....with a growing reserve list....Please do not travel without tickets there will be no door entry as we are at max venue numbers.... Says so much for the bands talent and the venue's brilliant atmosphere....2 years in a row, sell out!

Joey The Lips were FABULOUS !!!....what a night...as usual a fabulous party atmosphere, brilliant music, lots of dancing and the best audience any band could ask for. They will be our regular slot for January! What a great way to brighten up what is classed as a miserable month....only happy faces last night....all 400 of us when you include our volunteers. We are learning all the time and one thing we will take from this is to have a 'second' bar for draught beer, cans and wine...the bar was very very busy.

Joey the Lips 2011 Concert (A view from the Town Hall). In the days before the Joey Concert, with the weather set fare, tickets flew out of the door of the Town Hall and the Tourist Information Centre. The staff in both places were kept on their mettle keeping up with purchases. Meanwhile, in cyber space, on-line orders were flying through the ether from Teignmouth, Torbay, Taunton, Tiverton
and Exeter as well as Exmouth. Our website recorded its busiest day on 2nd June with 1,121 hits, only to be beaten the next day 3rd June with 1,285 hits. Both days beating the previous number of hits in a day
record. 302 tickets were sold on line comparing to 2009 when 150 tickets were sold on line. It was interesting to see the final number of tickets sold was around 1800. A huge event for us bringing incredible brand recognition for Rotary and in particular our club.

Cheers for an amazing night last night! Loved the new songs, and we will definately be seeing you again before the Exmouth Festival.

We saw the band last night @ Mama Stones, Exeter for the first time.
What a fantastic night, they were outstanding.From their voices to the musicians and the music they played was flawless.

What an absolute cracking nite at sheldon. We brought along a few Joey virgins who are now all big fans!!! You were really on fire and the best yet. glad the cakes went down ok. See you all soon xx
